The Ridge Beanie is worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in the round, seamless, and the crown is made up of simple decreases.
YARN REQUIREMENTS
To make the beanie as suggested in the pattern you will need 185 yards / 169m; 3.5 oz / 100g).
SUGGESTED YARN
I worked with Willow Worsted from Round Mountain Fibers for this beanie.
100% Superwash Merino. 185 yards / 169m; 3.5 oz / 100g). Colorways: Cohosh Blue, Jewel Weed Stem, Cactus Pink, Lichen Green.
SUGGESTED NEEDLES
Ribbing: Size US 6 / 4 mm - 16”/ 40cm circular
Body: Size US 8 / 5 mm - 16”/ 40cm circular and Size US 8 / 5 mm - DPN’s
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, scissors, and Beginning of the rnd marker.
GAUGE
4” x 4” / 10cm x 10cm = 22.5 sts x 22 rnds (in cable pattern st and using US 8 / 5 mm needles after blocking)
