You also need to know how to knit in the round and basic knitting stitches and how to increase and decrease stitches

12” / 30 cm long unfolded and 14” / 35 cm circumference after Blocking.
MATERIALS
YARN
Approx 175 yds/ 160m; 5.5 oz/ 155 g.
Shown in Spincycle Dream State in the Colorway Mississippi Marsala. (150 yds/ 137m / 3.5 oz /100 g).
NEEDLES
Brim: 4 mm US size 6/ 4mm - 16”/40 cm circular needles.
Body: 5 mm US size 8 - 16”/ 40 cm circular needles.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS
Stitch markers (4), cable needle, tapestry needle, scissors.
GAUGE
9 sts and 12 rounds = 2″ in Cable pattern after blocking.
To save time, take time to check gauge.
